Update: Clipper the Dolphin
| July 12, 2011

We received our regular update on our adopted dolphin Clipper from The Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute in Italy. Clipper’s been a busy dolphin! From April through June he was seen feeding around the marine fish farm, found in the study area and close to the shoreline.

During this period he chose to feed while cooperating with other dolphins (the males Rinco and Tacca and the females Alitana and Rebecca) in order to catch the fish more effectively. The last time Clipper was seen during this period was June 24 when he was engaging in acrobatic movements like leaps and breaches close to the fish farm area. It’s nice to know Clipper is doing well!
